What makes our Ovation Series automatic transfer switches the most unique in the industry is our PowerPause Load Management Modules.  One PowerPause Load Management module manages up to two circuits.  Each Ovation Series ATS system accepts up to three PowerPause Load Management Modules enabling you to load-manage up to six circuits. PowerPause Load Management modules plug into the Ovation Control Module, and include programming and wiring instructions.

Incorporating the PowerPause Load Management (LM) feature in your Ovation Series ATS keeps your generator from overloading while allowing you to run larger loads, like central air conditioning, when generator capacity is available.  Since your power demands will go up and down throughout the day depending on your activities and appliance usage, there will be times when not all of your generator capacity is used.  So when PowerPause LM modules are installed on certain loads like air conditioner, water heater, pump or electrc range, your Ovation Series ATS will try to turn on these loads according to priority whenever generator capacity is available. Ultimately, the PowerPause Load Management feature allows you to invest in a more moderately sized generator and intelligently use all of the capacity that is available on the generator you select.

If you just want to do load-lockout (preventing a circuit from turning on in the generator mode), you must still purchase and install a PowerPause LM module in your Ovation ATS.
